The Project

The client aimed at developing an AI-based education platform that enables teachers to design entire courses in which lessons, assessments, and modules are automatically created using AI. The site also had to facilitate interactive voice-based learning among students as well as give them feedback on their performance.

AllianceTek helped with a secure and scalable, and AI-driven platform that automates curriculum development, improves interaction, and makes content management easier for teachers and administrators.

Manual and Time-Consuming Lesson Planning

Teachers took a lot of time to prepare lesson plans and assessments manually. This complicated the process of scaled courses and created less space to be creative and do personalized teaching.

Solution

AllianceTek used OpenAI's large language model to help automatically generate lesson outlines, entire content, and assessment questions based on teacher inputs. Teachers could enter a subject matter or attach a curriculum document, and the system would automatically generate structured course content with Modules, Lessons and Assessments. This saved up to 70% of manual preparation time and enabled teachers to pay more attention to interaction and feedback.

No Centralized Course Management System

The client did not have a central system on which teachers would design, control, and process AI-generated courses. The handling of modules, lessons, and assessments was not efficient and fragmented.

Solution

AllianceTek developed a course and assessment management system based on Python (programming language backend) and React.js (front-end interface). The platform enabled teachers to operate full courses on a single dashboard - from lesson creation all the way through to publishing tests. Teacher, student, and administration dedicated dashboards provided convenient educational workflow control and access control.

Inefficient Use of Existing Teaching Materials

Teachers had a vast repository of educational materials in formats like PDFs, PPTs, and Word files, but no efficient way to extract and reuse that data for course creation.

Solution

Using Azure Document Intelligence, the platform could automatically read and extract key information from uploaded files, interpret the document structure, and convert it into usable lessons or assessments. This feature turned static educational materials into dynamic, AI-ready content instantly.

Digital learning often lacked engagement, especially for students who responded better to voice and visual stimuli. The client wanted to make learning more conversational and human-like.

Solution

AllianceTek implemented AI avatars using ElevenLabs Text-to-Speech technology to create interactive voice-based learning sessions. Students could learn through natural-sounding AI tutors that explained topics, asked questions, and gave feedback. This increased engagement and retention among students, making learning more enjoyable and effective.

AllianceTek developed a real-time analytics dashboard to be used by teachers and administration, where the data is visually presented as a report on student performance, course progress, engagement levels, and learning outcomes. The site had to be compatible with the existing learning management systems (LMS) and have the ability to be scaled up to enable it to serve thousands of people without compromising performance.

Solution

AllianceTek deployed the platform on Microsoft Azure Cloud using Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage for secure, scalable data management. It was integrated with existing LMS and school systems through REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) handled auto-scaling, while Azure DevOps pipelines supported CI/CD automation and continuous updates. Azure Cognitive Services enhanced the platform’s natural-language capabilities.

Features of AI-Powered Education Platform

    • An educator is able to enter a subject or upload a file, and the platform automatically creates entire course outlines, including lessons, summaries, and quizzes with the help of OpenAI.

    • It can be integrated with Azure Document Intelligence, which processes educational materials in PDFs, PPTs, and Word documents, enabling them to extract and convert them into useful forms.

    • The avatars of ElevenLabs offered voice-based and conversational explanations and learning to students.

    • Sorts the content automatically into Modules, Lessons Assessments – a manual work-hours saved.

    • Teacher and administrator dashboards provide comprehensive information about student interaction, assessment scores, and performance patterns.

    • Teacher, student, and administrator dedicated interfaces, with each user type being given specific functionality and access.

    • It compares the responses of the student and automatically recommends reteaching of modules or other materials based on the analysis.

    • Fluent data transfer and integration with the already existing school and LMS.

    • It was developed on Azure and is auto-scaled using Kubernetes, which allows maintaining a consistent performance and security level even at peak usage.

    • Azure DevOps pipelines were used to update, fix bugs, and roll out new features without downtimes.

    • Secure PostgreSQL database with structured educational content and analytics storage exceeding 200 GB of data.

    • Included cloud hosting, security monitoring, periodic AI model retraining, and proactive maintenance for sustained performance.
