Single sign-on using SAML
The solution consisted of implementing single-sign on to authenticate a single user profile for two SharePoint applications.
Why AllianceTek?
- AllianceTek provided end-to-end services and assisted the client to analyze the situation and launched a research to effectively address the issues and concerns.
- AllianceTek discreetly implemented the solution which consisted of using single sign-on with multiple SharePoint applications using the same Trusted Identity Token issuer.
- AllianceTek overcame this issue by implementing claims-based identity and access control so a user could be authenticated between two web applications.
- The authentication between the two web applications was carried out using SAML (Security Assertive Markup Language)
- The client not only gained an effective solution but also received training from AllianceTek of implementing single sign-on on SharePoint ADFS with SAML on the system.
