Because he believes processes and systems grease the engine that creates business prosperity, Sunil Jagani founded AllianceTek in 2004.
The inspiration for AllianceTek came as he ascended from technician to Senior Technical Lead in companies from Bisys to Advanta. He discovered that companies struggle to reap maximum benefits from information technology due to gaps in development teams’ skill sets. AllianceTek is now that ideal team.
With a Masters in Software Engineering from Penn State plus a business degree, Sunil has a unique ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and technical-jargon into everyday English.
AllianceTek’s growth to an international organization, employing over 100 people, is a testament to Sunil and his team’s ability to identify optimal combinations of leading-edge technology platforms to reduce waste and enhance profitability.
Sunil is an avid golfer—and, yes, he has a system to assure his weekend tee-time is booked before anything else.
Darren Love joined AllianceTek as a kindred spirit to Sunil’s vision that there is a better way – a better way to deliver projects where you can enjoy the experience, while achieving superior results.
Anyone who has been around IT for any length of time will probably smile at the audacity of such a claim, but deep down there is the desire that such a bold statement could actually be true. Two decades of experience has led Darren to share in that desire and seek the seemingly impossible.
Darren has worked the full gamut of IT positions, from Support and Development to Business, Process, and Project Management. He’s been an IT Consultant for many companies, from the very small to the very large and has seen the good, the bad, and the very ugly. He has earned the right to emphatically state, “Good is so much better,” which inspires his passion to aim higher and capture the elusive “great.”
At AllianceTek, Darren has found the foundation that delivers the vision of a better way and a better company. It been a long time since The Institute for Computer Studies and the BC Institute of Technology launched Darren on his quest. Ask him how he feels about being a part of the AllianceTek team and he’ll say, “It’s about time.”
Director, New Business Development
With more than 35 years of experience at engineering, financial, defense, and IT corporations, Michael has worked in all area of marketing and publications, including content/creative development, technical writing, and sales support.
Prior to joining AllianceTek, Michael served as a Publications Manager at Lockheed Martin, and a Marketing Manager at Unisys Corporation. He began his career editing licensing and startup procedures for nuclear power plants, and has also worked at The Vanguard Group and First USA. His skills include project management, publications support services, personnel supervision, and brainstorming – from developing new ideas to fine-tuning minute details.
Michael is thrilled to be part of the AllianceTek team, and believes AllianceTek’s customer approach is unique and refreshing. “It’s so easy for a company to forget they’re really in the people business,” he said. “Our customer focus is constant, part of everything we do – from cradle to grave.” Michael enjoys this personal touch, and working with such a dynamic and proactive team.
Senior Project Manager
Although Andy Tamarin’s career began in accounting, he quickly discovered that he could make a greater impact on business problems through information technology. And that’s what he loves to do—create systems that transform companies and enable them to scale their businesses.
Andy rose rapidly to IT Director at Eastern Connection, an overnight-delivery-service company. Now, after a quarter century of Information Technology, his diverse experience includes working as a software developer, business analyst and systems solutions architect.
Over the last decade Andy developed solutions for a multi-national e-commerce company as well as global shipping-service businesses. These systems track the delivery status and send almost real-time global shipment updates to clients via the Internet from Asia and Europe.
Andy has a Project Management Institute (PMI) certification from Penn State University and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Gwynedd-Mercy College.
He enjoys sports photography as well as playing and coaching lacrosse.
Christopher began his career into Information Technology as a customer care executive and in a very short span spiraled up his career graph.
Over the last 7 years Christopher has catered to varied software and web solutions to his clients. He has succeeded in providing comprehensive business solutions to a host of clients to help them scale their business. Christopher has gained a wide experience by working on diverse roles starting from a customer care executive, quality manager, team leader to project coordinator. Now, as a project manager he focuses on aligning people, processes and systems by employing advanced business solutions. He, together with his team, makes sure to exceed client expectations with timely deliverables and quality work at right cost.
Christopher holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He is an avid reader and loves playing football. He represented his university for football & state athletics.
Edward Kashmere is VP of Strategic Consulting and specializes in project management consulting, Six Sigma quality and process improvement, and accounting and financial systems solutions. He is an adjunct professor of accounting and finance in the Graduate School of Management at Penn State Great Valley and is an adjunct professor of management at Temple University's Fox School of Business. Kashmere has developed several courses for Penn State and other institutions in his named fields of specialization and is a contributing author to the book The e-Business Project Manager. He has worked for and consulted with General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Siemens, NASA, The Homeland Security Agency, CSL Behring, Air Products and Chemicals, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, among others.
Mr. Kashmere's research activities focus on innovation and emerging methodologies and technologies that can be readily applied in the current business environment. The successful utilization and integration of various project management and process improvement techniques and methodologies are only beneficial if the business can accurately implement, understand, and manage the value added by their application. Companies can greatly improve their performance by better utilizing their current infrastructure in a more coordinated and efficient manner.
Darrell E. Coleman serves as head of Content Development and Multimedia. With over 15 years experience in marketing and sales, Darrell looks to develop new partners and technologies that will empower clients’ marketing initiatives. While working for two recent technology start-ups, Darrell gained a thorough understanding in content development and its importance in business growth and presentation. With a Marketing Degree from Temple University, Mr. Coleman is poised to assist companies in launching and empowering their marketing endeavors with new energy and greater impact.
Prior to his work with AllianceTek, Mr. Coleman performed business development for a 3D digital signage company and a Philadelphia-area animation firm.
I needed to create an iOS app for my website and chose AllianceTek because their proposal was one of the lowest and they seemed a strong company. I was right!
