The Client was a startup company interested in implementing an entrepreneurial concept they created.
The Client wanted to develop an application for the Facebook online community. The application would allow Facebook users to earn and bet fake currency on global sporting events.
AllianceTek created a web-based application that allows members of the Facebook community to earn fake currency in the form of electronic “chips” and place wagers with these chips on global sporting events. The application provided live scores and betting lines in order to ensure the relevancy of the users’ bets. Numerous tools were integrated into the site to allow communication between users and promote a community feel.
Other highlights of the application include:
ASP.NET, .Net Framework 2.0, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, HTML, XML, and Facebook Frameworks FBML and FBJS
Project Duration: 3 months
Team Size: 1 Project Manager, 1 Technical Lead, 1 Graphic Designer, 2 Developers, and 2 Quality Assurance testers
