Financial Trading System

The Client

The Client is one of the largest interdealer financial security brokers in the world. The Client uses voice and electronic communication tools to broker trades of financial securities between its clients.

The Client needed an electronic system to replace the existing paper system used by their brokerage desks to track and store client and pricing data.

The Solution

AllianceTek created a desktop application that allows members of the Client’s brokerage desk to enter data into a GUI and have it stored into a networked database. Using an auto-refresh functionality, the application will query the database at regular intervals and update all users screens with the most recent trade information.

Other highlights of the application include:

Conditional formatting of screen elements based upon user-defined actions
Comprehensive search and filter functionality to review historical data
Robust audit system to track users entering and editing data
Integration with Microsoft Windows Active Directory to provide a secure, yet easy-to-use application login
